Friends are like the family that you get to choose, especially at uni you choose a select few and you're like 'Yeah you're pretty cool we should totally live together' and the bond you have with people you live with is one for life. I have some pretty great friends my best friend is called Chris and we literally finish each others sentences and we can talk for hours about absolutely anything! We also have a humour that only each other understand. He's pretty great and that's why it hit me pretty hard when he had to leave Stafford and go back home. However a best friend is for life and not just for a uni term! so we still talk pretty regularly and we know we're always there for each other. Bro's for life!
Luckily for me I have plenty of good friends like my current housemates Luke, Olivia, Heather and Dan. These guys are pretty special to me 'cause they're all so different in as many ways as possible but together we make a pretty great band of misfits. Heather is the first person I ever met at uni and ever since then we've lived together and been pretty close, I love how honest she is and she is a girl who will take no ones crap and is true to herself and I admire that so much. She's massive into art and it's pretty awesome really puts me to shame and makes me wanna hide out under a rock! I know she's gonna go onto to awesome things and that's why I hope she will always remember me when she's rich and famous.
Dan is well Dan he's a lanky sod that means that I don't feel like a giant in my house! He's good at his video games and works pretty hard at uni so I gotta respect him for that. He is also a hilarious drunk and has one of the most infectious laughs so yeah i like the guy. They also make a very bizarre but great couple.
The next two I've gotten to know the best over this last month where it has just been the 3 of us at home! They are Luke and Olivia and they're pretty interesting housemates there is never a dull moment here which is impressive as we're sober most of the time. Luke is someone I have also known since the beginning of uni and we instantly bonded over our love of music and alcohol (However he has become a little bit more of a health freak these days!) He is someone I know i can always talk to about random crap and there's a high percentage of chance he'll understand. He's a hard worker and would never be happy with just sitting on his arse all day and that's what I admire about him plus we've had some heated debates over certain issues but he stands up for what he believes in and that's a damn good quality!
Last but by no means least is Olivia I have known her for the shortest amount of time but in that short time she has made a very big impression on me. From an outside stand point we have very little in common she's quite girly and loves her make up which is certainly not qualities that I share. However we get on like a house on fire even though we can occasionally lock horns we have a great laugh and she cooks for me so i'll forever love her! She and Luke helped me through one of the roughest parts of my life where I really was at rock bottom and i'll always be thankful they stuck by my side even though it would have been so easy to just chuck me aside, Olivia also works so damn hard on her blog and her Twitter and for that I gotta give her some praise man a lot of people thinking blogging is the easiest thing to do, but this girl spends massive chunks of her time making and planning her posts so they're awesome and she helped me start my blog so thanks Livvy!
I also have to give a special shout out to Olivia for introducing me to one of her best friends who is now my amazing girlfriend and I couldn't be happier.
So today's Kee to Life from me is surround yourself with those that help and support you and make you grow as a person, don't hold onto to those who hold you back.
